I haven’t been using Facebook and the internet the previous days because my eyes condition is not very good. I don’t use online much because my left eye is sore and painful. Now this morning, I feel a little better, so I’m using Facebook again, and look at the new feed for special news. There, strangely enough, 2 photos of my classmates appeared on the new feed. My classmates are two foreign classmates that I became friends with when I was studying abroad and I have read news about them. The first one is attending at Norway for a Ph.d, doctorate degree and the other is assigned as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Sports in his country. When I saw that they posted photos on their new feed, I was very happy and proud of my friends. This is because my close friends who attended the same class as me have reached such a high level. We went for the master’s degree together and I am also proud of the program and the school I attended. One of these people got the opportunity to pursue a Ph.d degree in a country like Norway, and the other became the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Sports in his country, so the living standard is high. I was happy and proud of them, but at the same time, I felt sad when I thought about my future.
Like some say, the future is all dark. As for me, I was fired from my job, removed from home, had no place to live, my bank accounts were freeze, I’m living on the run, I can’t live as I want, I’m wrestling with problems and there are so many difficulties although I don’t speak out.
When I think like that, I feel bad and feel a little depressed, but after a while, awareness comes back and when I am in my right mind, I think to myself that ” I’m thinking about my future right now, what should I do next, how things should be, but in fact, now our heroes are saving the country on the front line. There are PDF, Local PDF, and UG who are always on the front line. Their lives are much worse than us. As for us government employees, once the People’s Revolution is successful, we, CDMers will have to return to our original jobs, our original houses and apartments, and then we will definitely get the things we own back, and we still have full guarantees.
As for me, I have a diploma at home and a master degree abroad and if the revolution is successful, everything will be back to normal soon. When I look at young people, they can’t get an education at the age of education, they are engaged in armed struggle only because they love their country and don’t want to be treated unfairly, some haven’t even finished school yet, employment is a long way, and they don’t know what will happen after that, and don’t think about their future. Listen to them whenever they are interviewed, they don’t care about themself but only care about their country and their next generation. How respectful it is that they are revolutionizing with the sole desire to fight this injustice so that other people like them don’t suffer.” When my consciousness returned after thinking like that, I was ashamed to think about my future. Though no one knows, I know it myself, feeling insecurity and not having a clear conscience.
So I want to advise my friends to remind themselves that they are not the only one in hardships but also other people are, because in this period, there is rarely anyone who lives conveniently, and only those with a selfish mind and living with no matter whatever happens to whom, may be convenient and most people are not convenient, having difficulties of living, earning and insecurity, and have many problems in both physically and mentally. And then, instead of being weary by looking at those who are living better than you, think about our heroes who are more difficult than you and then, you will regain the feeling that you are still ok. I’d like to advise you to stay strong by thinking like that. No matter how hard it is, we need to fight to end these sufferings as soon as possible. If you feel tired, rest for a while and the other people will go on. We will help each other and then continue fighting till the victory of our revolution. We will face the difficulties and hardships by keeping in mind that all the things we are doing are not only for us and our family, but also for our next generation and the country.
Revolution must prevail!
