Shwesandaw Pagoda is one of the highest pagoda among Bagan pagodas having the height of 328 feet and an imposing structure.
The pagoda can be seen from far away and is an ideal spot for sightseeing in Bagan, especially at the moment of sunrise or sunset.
The Shwesandaw Pagoda was built by Anawrahta King and is located at two southern part of the west gate exit of Ananda Pagoda.
The pagoda is famous with the very high staircases and can see the beautiful Bagan town scene from the pagoda.
