Most people are experiencing stress more or less every day regardless of age. Since the military coup on 1st February 2021, almost everyone’s mental state, changing obviously from normal to suffered, is growing day by day as they are witnessing unacceptable atrocities. People have struggled with anger, hatred and tiredness without peace even in a peaceful environment previously. For various reasons, there are changes in mental, physical and behavioral status and the growth of stress can be noticed.

Although stress is a normal physiological condition, sometimes it may lead to life-threatening conditions. The mental, physical and behavioral changes due to stress are hostility, emotional and reduced self control. With no peace in mind, depression, low self-esteem and loneliness come. Headache and gastrointestinal symptoms such as loss of appetite, indigestion, abdominal pain can occur. Being unable to concentrate, the mind becomes confused and pessimistic. In the long term, there could be social problems.

And acne, melasma, freckles, skin conditions with rashes and plaques called psoriasis and eczema can also occur. It can also be suffered from hair loss, stomachache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting etc. Finally, life can be threatened and therefore stress needs to be treated timely and should not be taken lightly. There are many treatment options including treatments relating to both physical and mental conditions and pharmacological treatments with SSRI etc. First, remember to breathe deeply to reduce stress rapidly in a short time. Sit straight and concentrate on breathing in. Then breathe out slowly via the nose and hold the breath for 3 seconds. And then breathe in after relaxing your facial, mandible, shoulder and abdominal muscles. This will decrease heart rate and reduce blood pressure.

Anxiety is due to focusing on the future, and instead, focus on the present. Question yourself about what is happening and solve it instantly. When you become calm, look into the past days and decide carefully.

I want to share what I find out about treatments to reduce stress.

1. Meditate

Sitting for a few minutes quietly and mindfully breathing in and out will make your mind free. It is an old method which has been used by people for years. And it can be said that this is still a useful method.

2. Inhale deeply

It’s always said to breathe regularly, isn’t it? This method is really working. Close your eyes, sit straight on your waist and breathe in and out deeply for about 5 minutes and this will make your stress go away quickly.

3. Accept as it is

Being confused is because you are thinking about complicated things. Accept the way as it is and analyze in a cool manner. You will know that the problems are not so difficult just as you think.

4. Face it

Your social media may be a way out for your mind. Open your mind by calling someone, posting or texting them. This will ease your mind.
